I'd maybe rather go with something like this:
info->endian = BFD_ENDIAN_LITTLE;
#if TARGET_BIG_ENDIAN
if (bswap_code(sctlr_b)) {
info->endian = BFD_ENDIAN_LITTLE;
}
#endif
