Subject: [Qemu-devel] R5018 almost working on Sparc64 host
Date: Sun, 17 Aug 2008 17:42:39 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <f43fc5580808170742p5c2a752et3cf56801cff19013@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
I get this with r5018 on OpenBSD/Sparc64:
/qemu-system-sparc -boot d -L .. -nographic -cdrom ../OpenBSD-4.2.iso
[sparc] Booting file 'cdrom' with parameters ''
Not a bootable ELF image
Not a Linux kernel image

Aurora 1.0:

Greetings.
Aurora install init version 7.2 starting

mounting /proc/openprom filesystem... done
mounting /dev/pts (unix98 pty) filesystem... done
Aurora install init version 7.2 using a serial console
remember, cereal is an important part of a nutritionally balanced breakfast.
checking for NFS root filesystem...no
trying to remount root filesystem read write... done
checking for writeable /tmp... yes
couldn't open /dev/tty4 for syslog -- still using /tmp/syslog

So Sparc64 host is very close to working, Linux even reaches userland.
