Date: Thu, 21 Jul 2011 04:05:38 +1000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <7517c61bff9e4f9a22f8ca0569f66617@mail.velocitynet.com.au> (raw)
Hello,
How do I reformat this disk into say 4 * reiser4 partitions of 500gb each.
?
I need command to do this please.
The disk size is the following
I will remove the current partition on the disk first, one large partion.
Is 500gb a size that Reiser4 will handle ok ?
Thanks Glenn
Disk /dev/sdb: 2000.4 GB, 2000398934016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 243201 cylinders, total 3907029168 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000
