The above commit should be a pretty low-risk change. Be sure to also include commit 8562c99cdd30 ("efi/reboot: Add generic wrapper around EfiResetSystem()") and commit 0c5ed61adbdb ("efi/reboot: Allow powering off machines using EFI").
