The patch below does not apply to the 4.8-stable tree.
If someone wants it applied there, or to any other stable or longterm
tree, then please email the backport, including the original git commit
id to <stable@vger.kernel.org>.

This lets call intel_crt_reset() in contexts where IRQs are disabled and
as such, can't hold the locks required to work with the connectors.
