Subject: patch "USB: serial: kobil_sct: fix NULL-deref in write" added to usb-linus
Date: Thu, 05 Jan 2017 17:42:18 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <148363453815675@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

USB: serial: kobil_sct: fix NULL-deref in write

to my usb git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: USB: serial: kobil_sct: fix NULL-deref in write

Fix NULL-pointer dereference in write() should the device lack the
expected interrupt-out endpoint:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000054
...
PC is at kobil_write+0x144/0x2a0 [kobil_sct]
