Subject: patch "usb: musb: da8xx: Remove CPPI 3.0 quirk and methods" added to usb-testing
Date: Fri, 03 Feb 2017 10:05:47 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <148611274712201@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
usb: musb: da8xx: Remove CPPI 3.0 quirk and methods
to my usb git tree which can be found at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-testing branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will be merged to the usb-next branch sometime soon,
after it passes testing, and the merge window is open.
If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: usb: musb: da8xx: Remove CPPI 3.0 quirk and methods
DA8xx driver is registering and using the CPPI 3.0 DMA controller but
actually, the DA8xx has a CPPI 4.1 DMA controller.
Remove the CPPI 3.0 quirk and methods.
Fixes: f8e9f34f80a2 ("usb: musb: Fix up DMA related macros")
Fixes: 7f6283ed6fe8 ("usb: musb: Set up function pointers for DMA")
