Message-ID: <14903677232522@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
hwrng: omap - use devm_clk_get() instead of of_clk_get()
to the 4.10-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
hwrng-omap-use-devm_clk_get-instead-of-of_clk_get.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.10 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@vger.kernel.org> know about it.

Subject: hwrng: omap - use devm_clk_get() instead of of_clk_get()
From: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
commit 761c2510283066324cab7859930777ee34cbca78 upstream.
The omap-rng driver currently uses of_clk_get() to get a reference to
the clock, but never releases that reference. This commit fixes that by
using devm_clk_get() instead.
