Patch "ALSA: hda - No loopback on ALC299 codec" has been added to the 4.11-stable tree

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    ALSA: hda - No loopback on ALC299 codec

to the 4.11-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     alsa-hda-no-loopback-on-alc299-codec.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.11 subdirectory.

ALC299 has no loopback mixer, but the driver still tries to add a beep
control over the mixer NID which leads to the error at accessing it.
This patch fixes it by properly declaring mixer_nid=0 for this codec.
