Subject: backport a patch for Linux 4.4 and 4.9
Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2017 17:23:50 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1505726630.26825.9.camel@mtkswgap22> (raw)
Hi reviewers,
I suggest to backport a commit to Linux 4.4 and 4.9 stable tree.
Reason: the double decrease of nr_reserved_highatomic will generate
many high atomic pages in the system and it may cause out-of-memory
issues under long duration test.
commit:4855e4a7f29d6d10b0b9c84e189c770c9a94e91e
subject:mm: prevent double decrease of nr_reserved_highatomic
kernel version to apply to:kernel 4.4 and 4.9
thanks,
Miles
