The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From 2f4a784f40f8d337d6590e2e93f46429052e15ac Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Phillip Potter Date: Mon, 3 May 2021 13:56:58 +0200 Subject: scsi: ufs: handle cleanup correctly on devm_reset_control_get error Move ufshcd_set_variant call in ufs_hisi_init_common to common error section at end of the function, and then jump to this from the error checking statements for both devm_reset_control_get and ufs_hisi_get_resource. This fixes the original commit (63a06181d7ce) which was reverted due to the University of Minnesota problems. Suggested-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman Cc: Avri Altman Cc: Martin K.
