Subject: patch "iio: gyro: fxas21002c: balance runtime power in error path" added to staging-linus
Date: Sat, 22 May 2021 09:50:19 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <16216698197187@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

iio: gyro: fxas21002c: balance runtime power in error path

to my staging git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git
in the staging-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: iio: gyro: fxas21002c: balance runtime power in error path

If we fail to read temperature or axis we need to decrement the
runtime pm reference count to trigger autosuspend.

Add the call to pm_put to do that in case of error.
