Generally if one version works for me, I don't upgrade it for a year or two. I've been hit a few times in the past by some quite annoying bugs (as is to be expected from any software in the development branch), and lost a lot of time on this. Rest assured that I don't feel comfortable on 1.7.9 either, that's a big jump for me but I know that most often it works quite well :-) Willy
