Subject: [PATCH 3.14 20/23] ARC: [nsimosci] Unbork console
Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2014 09:12:09 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20140411161203.007489895@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20140411161200.236939691@linuxfoundation.org>
3.14-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
commit 61fb4bfc010b0d2940f7fd87acbce6a0f03217cb upstream.
Despite the switch to right UART driver (prev patch), serial console
still doesn't work due to missing CONFIG_SERIAL_OF_PLATFORM
Also fix the default cmdline in DT to not refer to out-of-tree
ARC framebuffer driver for console.
