Subject: [PATCH 4.4 51/57] PM / QoS: return -EINVAL for bogus strings
Date: Wed, 19 Jul 2017 13:12:57 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20170719111252.023602579@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20170719111249.973558472@linuxfoundation.org>

4.4-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

------------------

From: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com>

commit 2ca30331c156ca9e97643ad05dd8930b8fe78b01 upstream.

In the current code, if the user accidentally writes a bogus command to
this sysfs file, then we set the latency tolerance to an uninitialized
variable.

Fixes: 2d984ad132a8 (PM / QoS: Introcuce latency tolerance device PM QoS type)
