Subject: [PATCH 3.18 16/35] audit: log 32-bit socketcalls
Date: Fri, 6 Oct 2017 11:24:56 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20171006092403.460576621@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20171006092402.810400570@linuxfoundation.org>
3.18-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Richard Guy Briggs <rgb@redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 62bc306e2083436675e33b5bdeb6a77907d35971 ]
32-bit socketcalls were not being logged by audit on x86_64 systems.
Log them. This is basically a duplicate of the call from
net/socket.c:sys_socketcall(), but it addresses the impedance mismatch
between 32-bit userspace process and 64-bit kernel audit.
