Subject: [PATCH 3.18 07/25] netfilter: x_tables: fix missing timer initialization in xt_LED
Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2018 16:22:54 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180316152233.055998263@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20180316152232.750180431@linuxfoundation.org>

3.18-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

From: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>

commit 10414014bc085aac9f787a5890b33b5605fbcfc4 upstream.

syzbot reported that xt_LED may try to use the ledinternal->timer
without previously initializing it:

The ledinternal struct can be shared between several different
xt_LED targets, but the related timer is currently initialized only
if the first target requires it. Fix it by unconditionally
initializing the timer struct.

v1 -> v2: call del_timer_sync() unconditionally, too.
