Subject: [PATCH 4.19 03/36] clk: HI655X: select REGMAP instead of depending on it
Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2023 15:54:29 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20230320145424.339190661@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20230320145424.191578432@linuxfoundation.org>

From: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org>

[ Upstream commit 0ffad67784a097beccf34d297ddd1b0773b3b8a3 ]

REGMAP is a hidden (not user visible) symbol. Users cannot set it
directly thru "make *config", so drivers should select it instead of
depending on it if they need it.

Consistently using "select" or "depends on" can also help reduce
Kconfig circular dependency issues.

Therefore, change the use of "depends on REGMAP" to "select REGMAP".

Fixes: 3a49afb84ca0 ("clk: enable hi655x common clk automatically")
