This release is only needed by any 5.10.y user that uses configfs, it resolves a regression in 5.10.195 in that subsystem. Note that many kernel subsystems use configfs for configuration so to be safe, you probably want to upgrade if you are not sure. The updated 5.10.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-5.10.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary thanks, greg k-h ------------ Makefile | 2 +- fs/configfs/dir.c | 2 -- 2 files changed, 1 insertion(+), 3 deletions(-) Greg Kroah-Hartman (2): Revert "configfs: fix a race in configfs_lookup()" Linux 5.10.196
