Subject: [PATCH 6.1 33/39] drm/amdkfd: amdkfd_free_gtt_mem clear the correct pointer
Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2024 07:38:43 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20241115063723.802366355@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20241115063722.599985562@linuxfoundation.org>
6.1-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Philip Yang <Philip.Yang@amd.com>
commit c86ad39140bbcb9dc75a10046c2221f657e8083b upstream.
Pass pointer reference to amdgpu_bo_unref to clear the correct pointer,
otherwise amdgpu_bo_unref clear the local variable, the original pointer
not set to NULL, this could cause use-after-free bug.
