Subject: [PATCH 6.12.y 1/2] USB: typec: Use str_enable_disable-like helpers
Date: Mon, 18 Aug 2025 15:32:39 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20250818193240.50566-1-sashal@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <2025081830-selected-dandelion-46ec@gregkh>

From: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org>

[ Upstream commit 13b3af26a41538e5051baedba8678eba521a27d3 ]

Replace ternary (condition ? "enable" : "disable") syntax with helpers
from string_choices.h because:
1. Simple function call with one argument is easier to read. Ternary
operator has three arguments and with wrapping might lead to quite
   long code.
2. Is slightly shorter thus also easier to read.
3. It brings uniformity in the text - same string.
4. Allows deduping by the linker, which results in a smaller binary
   file.
