Subject: [PATCH 6.18 19/49] smb: client: port and use the wait_for_credits logic used by server
Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 14:48:03 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260213134709.591383468@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260213134708.885500854@linuxfoundation.org>
6.18-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Stefan Metzmacher <metze@samba.org>
commit bb848d205f7ac0141af52a5acb6dd116d9b71177 upstream.
This simplifies the logic and prepares the use of
smbdirect_send_batch in order to make sure
all messages in a multi fragment send are grouped
together.
We'll add the smbdirect_send_batch processin
in a later patch.
