The patch below does not apply to the 5.10-stable tree.
If someone wants it applied there, or to any other stable or longterm
tree, then please email the backport, including the original git commit
id to <stable@vger.kernel.org>.

To reproduce the conflict and resubmit, you may use the following commands:

git fetch https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/ linux-5.10.y
git checkout FETCH_HEAD
git cherry-pick -x 26bc83b88bbbf054f0980a4a42047a8d1e210e4c
# <resolve conflicts, build, test, etc.>
git commit -s
git send-email --to '<stable@vger.kernel.org>' --in-reply-to '2026030936-trespass-errant-951f@gregkh' --subject-prefix 'PATCH 5.10.y' HEAD^..

Subject: [PATCH] smb: client: Compare MACs in constant time

To prevent timing attacks, MAC comparisons need to be constant-time.
Replace the memcmp() with the correct function, crypto_memneq().
