Subject: [PATCH 6.6.y 1/4] serdev: make serdev_bus_type const
Date: Fri, 29 May 2026 15:33:00 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260529193303.1704693-1-sashal@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <2026052800-unloving-guileless-afb9@gregkh>

From: "Ricardo B. Marliere" <ricardo@marliere.net>

[ Upstream commit 88cddfb7bf23b06876da6c3e9f296e666d0f6332 ]

Now that the driver core can properly handle constant struct bus_type,
move the serdev_bus_type variable to be a constant structure as well,
placing it into read-only memory which can not be modified at runtime.
