Subject: Build failure (openrisc:defconfig) in v3.12.y-stable-queue
Date: Thu, 28 Jan 2016 06:27:51 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <56AA2567.8010607@roeck-us.net> (raw)

Hi Jiri,

openrisc:defconfig fails to build in v3.12.y-stable-queue with the following errors.

fs/stat.c: In function 'cp_new_stat':
fs/stat.c:249:2: error: 'old_uid_t' undeclared (first use in this function)

kernel/uid16.c:19:1: error: expected declaration specifiers or '...' before 'old_uid_t'

and many additional related errors.

Adding patch 04ea1e91f856 ("openrisc: fix CONFIG_UID16 setting") fixes the problem.

Thanks,
Guenter
