Subject: pw-bot on kernel Patchwork misses pulls with different proto
Date: Thu, 22 Jan 2026 18:31:53 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <f8463626-68c6-4b3e-ac0c-5a01db8e7755@kernel.org> (raw)

Hey,

After merging pull requests to soc.git, I expected pw-bot to react -
change status in Patchwork and send thank you letter, but probably my
insteadOf rules confused the pwbot:

.gitconfig:
;rewrite git:// URLs to go over https:// instead:

[url "https://git.kernel.org"]
        insteadOf = http://git.kernel.org
        insteadOf = git://git.kernel.org

Pull request which was missed by pw-bot:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux-soc/patch/20260112115021.2551442-2-sudeep.holla@arm.com/

Merge:
https://web.git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc.git/commit/?h=for-next&id=94cdfe3980539d1ac2387e6e51a35226785d2df2

Best regards,
Krzysztof
