[U-Boot-Users] FFUART problem

Is it a hyperterm problem?  Did you verify hyperterm is actually sending data?  A classic problem is that Windows has handshaking enabled and it is waiting for a handshake.  Make sure both software and hardware handshaking is disabled.  (If your board supports handshaking, this would be a test.  If it doesn't, this is essential).

No, the hyperterminal was configured for 19200 8N1 with no handshaking.
I've also tried minicom and there is the same problem.
I used also the skyeye simulator to test the program and it stops in
function serial_getc() al line 166.

Attach a scope. Check if you see the characters on the wire.  If  you
do,  trace  them  on  your board. Are you sure your hardware is fully
functional?
