Dear Wolfgang

I found out that I should not type the 0x before the address from the
stdin.

Then it works properly.
The offset is entered with the 0x prefix on the command line, and
negative offset (my case 0x2000000 - 0x3FA9000 = -0x1FA9000) works also.
