I use CFG_FLASH_USE_BUFFER_WRITE in my board
with a Spansion S29GL032 Flash in 8BIT mode,
and til now, it works perfectly.

This mode is the only one allowed in 8BIT mode,
so I guess that it is acceptable for Spansion/AMD
flashes

Best regards,

Alexandre
