Patches must be submitted to the mailing list without
attachments, including html attachments. I don't know
this for a fact but I bet that hotmail is insisting on
including a html version of your email text, and that
the list is simply rejecting such attachments.
In other words, no html mime messages allowed. Plain
text only.
