Hi

I'm moving an i.MX6 based system to use SPL.
With CONFIG_USE_ARCH_MEMSET/MEMCPY enabled the SPL build fails with
undefined reference to `memset'
undefined reference to `memcpy'

The following RFC Patch should have made it in mainline by way of u
-boot-arm, however it didn't.

Is there a reason that the patch did not make it in mainline?
