Hi all,

We're porting u-boot to a Coldfire (MCF5282) evaluation board. We've read
that it's neccesary to have a preloader doing the initialization. Where can
we find the sources or binaries of this preloader??

Thanks in advance,

Sonia

Unix is like a toll road on which you have to stop every 50 feet to
pay another nickel. But hey! You only feel 5 cents poorer each time.

Hi Sonia,

for the 5282 a preloader is needed because the necessary initialization
is still not implemented in u-boot. If you like, you can spend some work
and implement the necessary parts in u-boot. If not, you can use
colilo as preloader. (www.reasonability.net/uclinux)

Regards,

Josef
