Subject: [U-Boot-Users] resume from sleeping for au1x00
Date: Fri, 14 Oct 2005 17:38:50 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20051014153850.GW6808@enneenne.com> (raw)

Hello,

someone are using u-boot to resume from sleeping with au1x00 MIPS
processor?

I'm just looking at linux code into file
arch/mips/au1000/common/sleeper.S. The function save_and_sleep() does:

        /* Now set up the scratch registers so the boot rom will
         * return to this point upon wakeup.
         */
        la      k0, 1f
        lui     k1, 0xb190
        ori     k1, 0x18
        sw      sp, 0(k1)
        ori     k1, 0x1c
        sw      k0, 0(k1)

so I suppose that, at wake up, these ?scratch registers? can be used
by u-boot to restart at correct location... is that right? :-o

Thanks in advance,

Rodolfo
