IIRC, the EP405 doesn't have SDRAM DIMM modules, right? The AMCC 
Walnut/Sycamore does. So a better start would be a board without DIMM modules 
like the esd CPCI4052 (using 405GP and 405GPr).

BTW: Please use top of GIT version for new developement.
