Hi,

I am porting U-Boot 1.2.0 for our board. Could you please confirm :-
1) 1.2.0 is the latest (stable) release.
2) git and/or the FTP server are the main locations for the latest U-Boot
releases and the Sourceforge release 1.1.6 is outdated.

Yes. But you should use top-of-git version as starting point for your new 
development and _not_ the 1.2.0 release.

Only git can be used to access the latest version of U-Boot.
