openmoko developers released a lot of interesting patches for u-boot:

Any plans about merging them into u-boot 2.0 tree ?

There are plans to merge at least some of it into the "normal" U-Boot 
repository. At least it's on my to-do list. I remember some quite interesting 
NAND stuff in there. Unfortunately I didn't find time for it yet.
