Are you working on a patch addressing the 3rd step?
I need to add post_word_load/store for mpc5121 based
board and re-submit board support patches, but if these
functions are going to be eliminated, I have to drop
post_word_load/store extension patch from my series
and base my patches on your patch.

Yes I am. I hope I will find time slot to finish this cleanup during
this weekend.
