No.  MAINTAINERS is the list of _board_ maintainers, as the header
should explain ("Maintainers for U-Boot board support").  In case of
sub-systems like MMC you need to look up the responsible custodian -
see here: http://www.denx.de/wiki/U-Boot/Custodians
