[U-Boot-Users] [PATCH] make use of "tr" posix compliant, and export HOSTOS var

This patch makes the use of the "tr" command posix compliant when setting
the HOSTOS make variable, and also exports this variable for use in sub-makes
(I needed to access to HOSTOS in my board "config.mk" fragment). Cheers!
