[U-Boot-Users] mapping flash memory

I have a new board based on s3c2410a. I have mounted  2 banks of samsung ram
k4s283233f and 1 bank of flash memory k9f2808uoc samsung. total size of ram
is 256Mbit  organized in two bank (128Mbitx2). Total flash is 128Mbit. I
need a help to configure the u-boot. How and what i can cange in the
original file of u-boot version 1.1.4 to setting flash memory and 2 banks of
ram?I think modify the  boot for smdk2410 and porting this to my board, what
do you think about?you now another way ?

I?ve a similar problem with my AM29LV160D FLASH! I don?t know how to
initialize it!

Has anyone experience with this FLASH?

I suggest you start reading the  chip  documentation,  and  then  the
U-Boot documentation and source code.

This is standard flash which is in use in more than  50  boards  both
with custom drivvers and with the CFI driver. There is no tricky part
involved.
