Subject: [U-Boot-Users] Scanning JFFS2 FS: ..... done

Message-ID: <3E92E624.1030402@imc-berlin.de> (raw)
Hi there,
when first accessing an JFFS2 partition from u-boot (e.g. ls) I see a
Scanning JFFS2 FS: ..... done
That takes over one second.
Is that needed? What for?
I am just experimenting with an JFFS2 partition with NO compression.
That makes my boot process faster, since the kernel and the FPGA data
are stored on that partition.
Thanks,
Steven
