Subject: [U-Boot-Users] Passing clocks to Linux (ARM)?
Date: Fri, 31 Oct 2003 14:19:57 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3FA2617D.7000300@imc-berlin.de> (raw)
Hi,
Looking at the kernel source for AT91RM9200 cpus shows that the clocks for
processor and bus are hardcoded. So for instance baudrate generator is
programmed with some hardcoded value.
I know that MPC8xx passes the clock values (and much more) from U-Boot to the
Kernel.
Has someone done that for ARM cpus?
Is there a plan to extend bd_t structure for ARM as it is for PPC?
Thanks.
