Subject: [U-Boot-Users] MPC8272ADS & U-Boot 1.1.1 (Second Try)
Date: Wed, 23 Jun 2004 15:16:07 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <40D98297.1000208@elmeg.de> (raw)
Hi,
its the second try without base64, sorry for that (I hate Outlook grrr).
Currently I am using U-Boot 1.0.0/Linux 2.4.22 with an MPC8272ADS-Board without any problems. Now I wanna upgrade to U-Boot Version 1.1.1 and I run into the following problem:
U-Boot starts up without any problems, it loads the linux kernel image (uImage) via TFTP. The checksum of the imgae is correct, uncompressing works fine, but than the kernel does not start up. All I get is a immediate reboot into U-Boot. Cause is a CHECKSTOP EXCEPTION. Its the same kernel image which works great under U-Boot 1.0.0. Any ideas? Here is the log:
