Greetings:

The following patch brings the board support for Sandburst Metrobox and 
Karef evaluation boards up to date.  This patch also fixes support for 
the Xtreme Engineering XPedite1000 board flash.

XES introduced a hardware write protect (via gpio) for the socketed AMD 
flash.

This patch fixes support for flash by setting up the intel strata flash 
and moves the env. variables from i2c eeprom (bad) to the first sector 
of the strata flash.


CHANGELOG:

   Initialize front end fpga ID and Version variables properly.
