 i would like to boot linux from 1-nand flash. does u-boot have support for
it?.


 if not, does anyone know how to boot linux from a 1-nand flash?.

TI's vendor specific U-boot here:

has support for one nand. I dont know if anyone pushed it to Denx yet-
googled a bit, but did not find an email on the list.
