Subject: [U-Boot-Users] Problem when booting on NOR flash : kernel booting is stopped : why ?
Date: Mon, 09 Oct 2006 16:39:30 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <452A5F22.9070904@tesbv.com> (raw)

Hello,

Our hardware context:
We have a DaVinci TMSDM6446 target board.

Our Problem :
When CS2 ChipSelect is on "FLASH" = NOR and S3 red switch = 1010111111
(COUT0 on left to YOUT0 on right)
So we boot from NOR flash, then on the gtkterm emulator terminal, we see
that the kernel booting is stopped just after "booting the." string (see
below or enclosure file ) :

U-Boot 1.1.3 (Mar 15 2006 - 11:42:19)

U-Boot code: 81080000 -> 81097320  BSS: -> 810A0230

MY AMD Flash: 16 MB

Questions :
1- What is occured in your oppinion ?
2- How can I debug this ? with which tools ? I've no JTAG available for
the moment.

thank you
