Hello,
Are there plans for U-boot to support any PPC 83xx+QE (Quick Engine)
based boards? Relevant boards can be Freescale's 8360 or 8323 based
ones.
Thanks.
David.

Hi David,
The Freescale MPC8360eMDS comes with u-boot already installed, so that
would be a "yes."

Thanks guys. Didn't find it under the latest (1.1.6) distribution. Was
it added at a later stage?
Regards,
David.

Yes. 1.1.6 came out on Nov 2, and 8360 support was added on Nov 4.
Keep in mind that the latest version of U-Boot is 1.2, which includes
8360 support and was released on Jan 6.

Thanks again. Please note that the SourceForge download page still
states 1.1.6 as the latest version.
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=65938
Should I use a different download location?
Regards,
David.

What happened to the MPC8323EMDS port at opensource.freescale.com?

Note that the current U-Boot code in denx.de does not set the QE frequencies in the OF
tree. I have plans to fix that.
