Hi all,

We have a custom board with a Spansion's S29GL256N flash. We are using 
the U-Boot cfi driver and we would like to use the sector real 
protection available in U-Boot defining CFG_FLASH_PROTECTION. Checking 
the function flash_real_protect() the cfi driver only
supports Intel compatible flash. Am I rigth? Is there a patch available 
for Spansion's flash ?
(Sorry, I'm unable to check this topic in the u-bot-users mailing list 
in sourceforge, I always get a server error).
