Hi,

Is a port to the Coldfire 5307 and/or 5407 in the works or is anyone
interested in it?

My company is considering developing a new board based on either the
5307 or 5407. I saw that Bernard Kuhn has ported to the MCF5272 and
MFC5282 processors.

I'm willing to give a MFC5307/5407 port a shot but I am sort of a newbie
at this so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Just to know where I'm coming from:

I a previous job I have created embedded Linux systems and toolchains,
but my colleague created the hardware design, boot code, kernel port and
kernel drivers.

I have written firmware for motorola, avr, pic and arm processors in
both assembly and C. I have some knowledge of hardware design (basically
needed to write effective firmware)

So as far as I can see my knowledge gap lies in between straight
firmware and application systems.

I am eager to learn and if I am able to contribute something useful it
would be my pleasure.

Best Regards
