Subject: [U-Boot] AT91SAM9263 Board with DM9161A
Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2009 15:14:56 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4981B9E0.2060704@prime-micro.de> (raw)

Hi,

I designed a new AT91SAM9263 Board using the schematics of the Atmel
AT91SAM9263-EK EVAL Board. I have a problem in the ethernet path.
Running auto negotiation (Davicom DM9161A PHY) creates a connection with
100MBit/Half - Duplex. With the original Atmel Board Full duplex is
possible. I tried this with U-Boot 2008/10 and Linux 2.6.24. TFTP from
Host to our Board is ok, PING from Board to Host too, but not from Host
to our Board. Reading back the auto-negotiation advertisment register
(ANAR 0x04) shows 0x00a1, when writing 0x01c1 before. What's wrong?

best regards

Josef Baumann
